Detailed Description:

The outer sheath of the self-regulating heating cable is made of highly flexible, mechanically resistant grey polyolefin insulation, ensuring excellent weather resistance. The built-in thermostat automatically activates at 5°C, guaranteeing continuous and efficient frost protection.

Placement of the Heating Cable

The heating cable should be installed along the bottom of the pipeline. It is important not to use the cable on pipes that may reach temperatures of 65°C or higher. This cable is designed exclusively for frost protection of metal or plastic pipes. For plastic pipes, it is recommended to first apply an aluminum adhesive tape to the pipe to improve heat conduction.

How to Choose the Right Cable?

 

• The heating cable length should match the length of the pipe.
• Ensure the pipe surface is clean and dry before securing the cable.
• The cable should be fastened with PVC or aluminum adhesive tape.
• ELAA-50 aluminum tape is particularly recommended, as it helps distribute heat evenly on plastic pipes.

Thermostat Installation

• The thermostat (black casing) should be attached directly to the pipe.
• It will automatically activate the heating when the pipe temperature drops below +5°C.

Insulation & Safety

• The system should be covered with insulation to reduce heat loss and save energy.
• Recommended insulation thickness: minimum 13–19 mm.
• Ensure proper grounding for safe operation.
• The connection cable includes three wires: phase, neutral, and ground. Verify proper grounding to avoid electrical issues.
